Sharq Radio
Sharq Radio is one of the top radios in Afghanistan, having the best programs in the region. Its has 1 KW transmitter with a 80 meter Tower. Sharq radio has 18 personnel male and female. According to the Survey of ALTAI consulting with the help of USAID, Sharq radio is on of the most trusted radio stations in the region, providing the listeners programs on such topics related directly and indirectly to the lifestyle of the listeners of the region. Sharq Radio is one of the radio stations started work for democracy and peace at a very hard time and in one of the most hostile regions of Afghanistan. Due to which its workers faced loots of problems and threats but opened a way to medias in the region. That is the reason today there are more than 16 private FM radio station in the eastern region. Sharq radio is now trying its best to improve its programs at its best, to full fill the needs of the listeners.
The radio broadcasts multi-themed programs including news, entertainment, music, community awareness, and public welfare.
